IS THIS FOR REAL V40 DO NOT HAVE ROTOR CAP OR DISTRIBUITOR ??

I believe there is instructions on www.volvospeed.com to remove the ETM.
Your car does not have cap, rotor, distribuitor or ignition wires, if I'm not mistaken, you have coils over the plugs like my S60 and S80.

    the x40 for '00-04.5 do not have an ETM, it's a cable activated t-plate. There is only 2 coils, on on cyl 2 and one on cyl 4 I think. There's short plug wires going from the to the other 2.

    Partly correct. The 2000-04 S/V 40 4cyl engine has 2 coils on 2 plugs, and 2 ignition (spark plug) wires going to the other 2 plugs. 1&4 fire together, and 2&3 fire together.
