I had a similar problem in a 04 S80 with about 4,000k. It took a couple of trips to the dealer before it looks like it is fixed. My problem was a creek from the rear suspension at low speeds. In the end I was told that the rear left spring was not "sitting " correctly and needed to be rotated slightly so the end of the spring was fully seated.

just so you know, these cars are notorious for suspension related issues.

I got some recent thoughts from IPD that it may be rear sway bar? I am looking into it? maybe we will both figure it out......

I have the exact same problem. Dealer originally said it was an issue with the front struts, reverberating to the back. Nope. Then it was the back shocks. Nope. Still have it and am tired of taking the car back and spending money every time. If you find out what it is, let me know! Dave
