Radiator petcock clogged 850 1996

I tried to flush my radiator yesterday. When I tried to drain the coolant from my radiator I couldn't. No matter which way I turn the petcock valve, fuid wouldn't come out. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any help!

try little blasts of compressed air if you have access to an air compressor. but at any rate like jack says, sounds like the rad needs a good flushin'

Take it to a radiator shop and have them do a powerflush--works better than draining through the petcock anyway and doesn't cost that much. I have mine done at Midas--just be sure they use no-phosphate coolant.
