Front end/wheel vibration. C70 1998

Maybe someone can offer some help with this.
1998 C70 hpt, 97,000 miles. I have noticed a vibration coming from the front driver's side during tight right-hand turns at low speed (5-10 mph).
It does not happen all the time, and it seems to be just on that side.
Any ideas?
Thanks for any help.

Front end/wheel vibration. C70 1998

I have the same problem with my '98 V70 AWD. Except mine rumbles when turning left. Dealer has replaced left wheel bearing and axle assembly ($1002--ouch!) and noise is still there.

I think I have the same problem, I hear a growl coming from the right side, when I turn around corners in a parking lot. I will let you know what I find out. My suspicion is the CV joints.

Front end/wheel vibration - My problem found C70 1998

After changing both front wheel bearing assemblies, rebuilding both front axles with no affect on the sound, I finally noticed that the front right engine mount was in bad shape. Half of the rubber foot had broken off and the engine was resting on a very thin layer of rubber if at all. This seemed to jive with the problem. Only when the engine was under power (rpms up), and I was turning left (engine leaning on right mount) did I hear the sound. The fix was easy (less than an hour) and now there is no noise or vibration. There's a good explanation of it in this brickboard (search for engine mount or motor mount, I forget how to get to it).

Check your bushings to see if a pot hole crushed one of them on the right side.

I had the bearings check by a Volvo tech about two months ago-checked out fine.
I have not hit any potholes.
Could it be the steering rack?
I have not felt any vibration for about a week now.
Thanks for the help.
