I installed after market Fog Lights and am having trouble getting power to the lights and switch. I recently purchased the Haynes Manual from IPD which has wiring digrams. It shows a relay between the battery and the light switch but I'm having difficulty locating it. I opend the panel under the steering wheel and found a relay block with a couple of empty sockets. The wiring schematic does not indicate the location so I'm hoping some one reading can give me a specific location or a schematic that gives a specific location.

I tried to save money on our V70's fogs...2004, but long and short of it, even after installing the relay, I had to pay for a VADIS download to turn them on...don't know how the aftermarket lights would stack up.

The relay is only installed when fog lights are installed at the factory. It is included in the Volvo OEM fog light "kit". It will be less expensive to purchase a standard automotive relay ($6 at Radio Shack stores in the US) and fabricate wire adapters to the factory relay socket. That will allow you to mount your own switch, eliminating the need for software to activate the fog lights.
