Removal of front headrests (V70 2001) V70-XC70

Does anyone know how to remove the front seat headrests on an '01 V70.
On all earlier Volvos, there was a release tab at the base of each of the
headrest posts. You had to feel around the back of the seat to find them, then
you could push the tabs and pull the headrest out.
On my last V90, I changed the stock solid headrest with the open style from a 740. Visibility was much improved. I'd like to do the same on my V70 but I can't seem to find the release buttons.
I'm not sure whether the earlier style will fit or not, but I'dlike to try.

Same as the other models. The tab is directly in line with the leg about 3" down. You have tto push relatively hard .

Thanks for the advice but still can't seem to locate those darn tabs.
There is the middle portion of the back side of the seat that indents for rear passenger legroom.
Above that is the uppermost area of the seat back directly below the headrest.
This padded area protrudes outward an inch or so and has a width of about six inches.
Are the tabs found in the upper part or below in the softer legroom panel?
