2000 S40 cupholder S40-V40

The dash cupholder in my s40 has broken (it seems that the spring that holds the little arm must have broken). I really don't use it that often so I don't care too much, but now it's rattling. Does anyone know how to remove this?

I don't have a solution, but would love to hear an answer. I'm in the same boat, my cupholder went out the other day and just sits an inch from the dash and won't close. Does anyone know how to replace these cupholders or where to order a replacement?
