Hi
I recently purchased a 94 850 turbo sedan in need of an engine. Ive found a 99 v70 engine that matches numbers (B5234T) and was wondering if it would work in the 850
They look a little different (spark plug cover and timing belt cover). Ive added a pic of the v70 engine thanks

i talked to the local volvo dealer and they said i would have to make some adjustments but its not impossible? is this correct?

It won't work.

The '99 engine has an electronic throttle system and ignition coils at each plug, thus no cap, no rotor , no spark plug wires.
