I was told I have 30% on my front brakes but they squeel S60 2003

I was told I have 30% brake left in the front and 70% in back, and that I could go another 10k miles at least (I currently have 32k miles on it) till changing them. But they are starting to squeel, not bad but everyone once in a while is that normal?

Every once in a while is OK. Does it happen after you have used them a couple of times(warmed up) or first thing in the drive? If it is first thing, there is probably a little moisture/dirt on the rotor. If it happens when warm, check the rotors for scarring/groves/wear, they may be getting thin and will need to be replaced at the next pad change.

If this is happening after the pads and rotors heat up then you can do the following...
When the rotor is cool, take your finger and check along the outside edge.
If you have a ridge then what happens is that you get brake dust between this ridge and you pad. Take your car to a shop and ask them to chamfer the pads -
@$40.00, or if your handy remove them yourself and using a dremel and a small drum sanding attachment sand down the outside edge of your pads.
This should keep you noise free for @10K.
My old 86 used to do this frequently (drove me nuts).
