two seperate questions that are perplexing me

1. Blower motor only works on high speed 4.....any body have a suggestion or clue?

2. LOUD noise, cracking sound coming from dash when I hit a bump? Sounds like plastic cracking?

Any answers or suggestions ?

The blower motor has two fuses, one that runs speeds 1-3, and a seperate one for speed 4. Your owners manual (or the underside of the fuse cover) has the fuse number for the 1-3 speed fuse... that's probably your problem.

Question 2 The dash is bolted to the firewall. If the evaporator has been changed it is likely that the bolts were overtightened and have broken the tabs or they are loose. To acess them you need to remove the cowl under the wipers.
