Dim low beams, hight beams ok S70 1998

Checked battery voltage and it is good. These lights almost seem amber rather than truly bright. Is there a common problem I am missing?

Thanks for the input,

dick

ok got the osram silver stars and fitted them...went for a drive...

first impresions:-

dipped: more light on the road, cut of on the edges of the beams MUCH more pronounced and the width of useable light is better.

Full Beam : say hello to daylight! wicked....the only issue being going back to dipped is like 'where did all the light go'

this is based on a 5 mile drive in slightly foggy conditions.

overall I definately like them and they certainly make a difference, i paid £36 for 4 for mine and i think they are worth that for sure..

just my opinion...for what its not worth

Just installed a pair of dims (low beam) last night and what a difference!! Son-in-law put a pair in his S70 and also noted a great difference. Now we need some brights (high beam) too. Will try a pair on my '93 940 T also.

Thanks for the suggestion--

dick
