Hi Advisers,
My 94 850 wagon non turbo runs good with 187000 miles on the clock. Thinking of switching to synthetic Mobil 1 10W/30? had my RMS done last month and rebuilt tranny. Will the switch from regular oil to synthetic cause harm done good? There some indy's who are against synthetic claming too late since i've been using regular oil?

Hog wash! So long as the oil weight is not too light, synthetic should be used whenever possible. It will keep your engine cleaner and cooler. 10W-30 synthetic would make you and your car happy. It won't puddle under the car or make your exhaust blue.
