C70 Heater??? C70 1999

Hi. I just bought a '99 C70. It's a great car, but last night I realized when I tried to use the heater for the first time that it doesn't work. The AC works fine, the fan comes on like normal, there isn't any unusual smell. There's just no heat coming out.

Does this sound like a thermostat or something electronic?

Thanks...

Sounds like a climate control issue is causing this. Specifically the heater control flap (not sure if technical term) sounds like it is either stuck or non-functional. do you have automatic climate control or manual?

The temperature guage should give you clues if you have a bad thermostat. Very low coolant levels can sometimes cause this too. You should be able to get a new thermostat and gasket for $7 and it only takes a few minutes to change out.

Thanks, I'll check it out. That's what's weird...the temperature gauge has been running in the normal range, dead center. Nothing else out of the ordinary. No smells, nothing. That's what seems so weird about it to me. I thought that it might be a valve relay or something like that.
