Warning bell won't stop

1994 850 T (154000)
I can't seem to get my warning bell to quit ringing. It stops when I remove the key but continues to go while I drive around. All doors are closed, belts buckled up and doors locked.
Any experienced bell dousers out there???
Thanks Mike

The micro switch in the door lock mechanism is known to fail. I have read that it is simple to replace.

I pulled the fuse out to stop it, also disconnected the lamp near the drivers door under the dash. I believe the switch is inside the door, and is difficult to get to.

Mike,

sounds like probably the driver door switch, that activates the chime when the door is open, may be faulty. When the switch fails the circuit remains closed and the chime will not go off.

I believe the switch is along the front inner side of the door jam. You'll see a switch that you can push in. That is it.
