You can buy a little tool that is a cube and is used with a ratchet wrench.
It costs less than $10. It fits in the piston of the rear brakes and you turn it while compressing the piston down in the caliper. I had to file 2 of the lobes so that it will fit in the small S40 brake piston. Search the internet for a disk brake tool and you will see it. If you can replace the front pads, then you can replace the rear pads. Good Luck.

You will not need any thing special for the fronts but the rear caliper needs a special tool to twist the piston back into the caliper housing. It is a type of spanner wrench that has tabs that fit into slots cut into the top of the piston.

You don't need the $pecial tool S40-V40

I changed all my pads recently. No special tools required.

Go to your local hardware store if you do not have (or borrow) a 6in C-clamp. The head of a C-clamp rotates so it does the same thing as the special tool plus you can clamp things when you need it.

The rear calipers do rotate as they are pushed in. With a 6in C-clamp I pushed my rear calipers back easily. Just put the C-clamp in place with the rotating head over the caliper piston. Tighten. If the piston does not move easily the first turn, back off a half a turn and tighten again. The piston will move freely.

BTW: My recommendation is to get the Mintex pads from FCP Groton. No dust, last longer than stock, stopping power excellent like stock, and at $30 front set $25 rear you can't go wrong.

So, without that tool it´s impossible to change them.
I guess i leave the job to the pros at the local service garage.
Maybe i´ll change just the front pads my self then.

Thanks!

Yes it would most likley be the best thing to do.I would not use anything but the special tool as you do not want to score up the piston, that would rip the dust boot that surrounds it.
