Where is the voltage regulator located on a '98 V70?

    basically, in the alternator. it's not as accessible as the older 1s. there's a sheet metal sheild that covers the back and part of the side. that comes off and then you can get to the regulator. never been able to do it without pulling the alternator. did it twice, didn't fix the cars, replaced the alternators and now that's all i do. good luck, chuck.
