Before you start digesting my answer below, first check and see if your air mix dial is set to "no mix". If it is set to "full mix", you'll be getting 90% ambient air.
Next check the coolant/antifreeze level in your car (yes I know the light "should" alert you, but...)without coolant, you will have no heat. Conversely, without freon, you will have no a/c. Without gauges, you will need someone to check your freon levels, however you can check to see if the compressor is coming on. You should hear a click, and have the slightest of an idle change, when the compressor comes on. No click, no change in idle, most likely, no freon. Evaporators are problematic on this model.
Next, when you first start the car, do the lights on the climate control flash at you? If so, you need to check for codes. If you have an MCC system (no degree numeral temp control), you check it at the controller in the dash; if you have an ECC system (degree temp control), someone with a diagnostic tool will have to read the codes for you. If your car is an ECC, they share several temperature reading sensors, and the controller. If your car is MCC, they share the controller. Hope this helps,
Chris
