Back Seat Cupholder

The rear seat cupholder in my brand new V70 won't come out anymore. It's one of those things that you push in and then it slides out. Any advice on how you get it to come out?

    Probably stuck due to sticky beverage spills. You should be able to get it to release by first pushing it in then gently pry with a plastic spatula or putty knife

      And if that's not it just let the dealer solve the problem. That's what you paid good money to buy a new car for, right?
