I tried searching these forums, but all I could find were attestments to the job's ease and economy. However, I can't actually find anywhere where it shows HOW to do it. I hear references to "$20 and an hour" ... where can I get the mount for $20? The local dealer has it for $90, blech.

Maybe I was looking for the wrong thing in the wrong places, but any help would be appreciated.

I got the IPD poly and hated it. It was easy to install, but it made the cabin very noisy. Noticeably noisier. It took as much time to remove the old insert as to completely replace the mount.

I got the complete mount from my dealer with VCOA discount for $50. They only sell the whole mount these days, not just the rubber, so you don't need a press. Very simple to remove the decorative covers on top of the engine. About 45 minutes work.

Check another dealer. $90 for the part is outrageous! I could see $90 if the dealer installed it. FCPGroton has them for $62.62.
