How to disconnect alarm system on 850? 850

Anyone know how to disconnect the security (alarm) system in my '94 850? I think it's shorting out my blinkers/flashers.

Remove the Alarm relay under the driver side.

I double check my Volvo alarm (very basic version). The relay number is 210-211. Depending on your Volvo alarm type/version, your relay will look different than mine, but the relay number should be the same.

Hi,

You need to remove the driver side plastic kick panel. You then lookup from the bottom of the driver side foot well, you should see a panel of relays. The Volvo Alarm has different version, so the relays will looks different. It is a double relay set in the panel. I don't know the exact relay number on your car. It will be printed on the top of the relays.

Take the relays out, then you will have no alarm at all.
