Any good Saab groups

something equivalent to Brickboard ? Thanks.

Oh yeah, getting the 9-5, good year end deals. Just couldn't deal with Volvo of Mt. Kisco anymore. Never again (at that dealership anyway.)

I just don't get it. Why would any dealership constantly treat people like crap (I'm talking sales not service.) Do they think that being slick as sh*t really sells cars? Wouldn't the best sales person just focus on the positives of the car and not worry about being such a total ass? Maybe I didn't meet their level of snobism or something. One lady was even like "this probably isn't the car for you, maybe you shouldn't get a Volvo." This was after saying nothing negative about it. I wasn't in my best attire but when someone is ready to drop 30K does it really matter or is the dealership trying to keep all the riff raf (me) out and maintain some type of ficticous image?

Same attire at two different Saab dealerships didn't get me any grief.

      Yeah ... right...

      And your point is? (Other than the one on top of your head.)

      Do you work at Mt. Kisco Volvo, ohhh that's so sad, did I offend you? Oh did I offend your precious little car? Is your self esteem that low? Please do go see a therapist.

          uhhhh, if you actually read (AND understood) the original message you would have had a resonable response. That is if you are able to put more than a few meaningful words together. The jury is out on that one.

            OK

            Really. I can read, and I can sometimes think and opine. Depends on the med of the moment. You want to get a Saab? Don't.

            Saabs are quirky enough to make Volvos look simple. Saabs are finicky enough to make Volvos look bullet proof. Saab drivers sit sideways. The transmissions are funny...any more questions? You ought to hear what I think of Chevys...................................;}

    Any good Saab groups

    I've been a long time Saab owner -- over 30 years, and I am going over to Volvo. I found my local Saab dealer a bit sleazy and the Volvo dealer more upfront even though my wife and I stopped in after a long, hot hike -- you can imagine what we looked like. The Saab dealer had sold us a 9-3 as a “good deal demo” and I later found out that it had been returned by a buyer when the brakes failed and it had a minor accident. The dealer quickly took vehicle back and returned my money after I pointed this out and mentioned the words “lawyer” and “fraud” in the same polite sentence.

    Anyway, we then did a lot of looking. We found that the 9-5 is older technology -- not much different than the 9000 we now own. The 9-3 is really hot -- it holds the road remarkably well and is great fun to drive in tight mountain roads. The Volvo S60, though not as much fun is a much better road car than either of the Saabs. Recently we drove all three, one after the other, on a one hour loop along the same roads - some twisty, some city and some freeway. The S60 (it was an AWD) has much, much more comfortable seats and is significantly quieter on the badly maintained freeways in Washington State.

    If I were you I’d write a letter to the owner of the dealership that gave you grief and see if he can hook up with a more polite salesperson and a better deal in order to keep your business.
