I am getting a squeak from within the dashboard that is amplified when it is wet out or the air is humid. It comes with bumps in the road and is not always around. The best location that I can think of is behind the glove box.
I have an extended warantee on the car through November and would like to have a suggestion to give to the dealer when I bring it in next. Anyone have any thoughts?

Many of us with SV70 have your exact same annoyance.
Some people on that board are using a credit card installed between the window and the dashboard lo lock the part in position.

When it is hapenning to me I used my fingers to pull back the plastic parts adjacent to the window (passenger side) back in its place. It usually work for couple of month before it start agian. It is usually hapenning when there is some fast change in temperature.

hello BS! just a thought about your squeak...anything to do with your air conditioning or fan?Sounds like something might be loose? I had a rattle in my door with the stereo on ,it turned out to be a loose screw and the washer was doing all the rattling!!The damp air side of it has got me puddled!! Hope you get to the bottom of this!! Ciao Hesh.

Thanks - I will have to give some of these ideas a try. I have tried to play with the AC, fan, and radio when the problem is happening to no avail. I will try the credit card thing and see how it works.
I have tried pulling back on the dash while my wife drives and it didn't seem to affect the problem, but I have a bad shoulder and may not have been pulling hard enough. I will try to get in the vents and give a yank.

An easy fix. a thin piece of rubber or simular item between the windshield and molding and a few places. Fixed
