P0243 Error code V70-XC70 1998

I have cleared my error codes but P0243 keeps coming back. I can't find any references to the solenoid "A" it mentions (Turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid "A") Is there anyone out here who knows what that means and where solenoid "A" is.
Failing that is there any web site to go to find that information?

The code is for a turbo control valve, signal missing. The valve is mounted on the air filter housing under the air inlet hose. Volvo code is EFI 242 Turbo control valve signal missing.

That is boost pressure fault which is actually caused by the Mass Air Flow Sensor.Don't replace the boost pressure control it won't fix it. Use only a bosch MAF. experttech
