handling and bumps on 2001 V70T5 V70-XC70 2001

(I had inadvertantly posted this same message on the RWD forum.)
I have a 2001 V70 T5 that I bought used with 48,000 miles. It now has 57,000 miles. I have had the front tires replaced and a wheel alignment done recently. Also the rear antisway bar links were replaced. The problem I am having is that going over bumps at highway speed it feels as though the rear of the car is jumping sideways. Is this normal for this car or do I need new shocks? Handling otherwise is good.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Not normal, you need something. Shocks? Shock mounts? Sway bar broke?

Good luck.

handling and bumps on 2001 V70T5 V70-XC70 2001

The car was at the Volvo dealer last month where they noticed that the rear antisway bar links were worn. They did not notice anything else on the suspension. I had the work done at my local mechanic who noticed the front tires were worn down to wear markers. They replaced both front tires, did an alignment and replaced the rear antisway bar links.
I will have them look at the car again. My question is what shocks and struts should I put in the car if that is indeed the problem? (Volvo replacement, aftermarket)?
Thanks for your input.

Bilsteins are a good choice with a lifetime warranty. The HDs are their best, but too firm for some. Check out IPD (google if not familiar) for choices.
