99XC RPMs at Idle V70-XC70

Can any of you guys give me your RPMs at idle and what the Volvo specs. are for idle RPMs? I'm currently running at 850rpms and this seems high to me. It also may explain my terrible gas milage (about 14mpgs) when in town in stop and go traffic. (Most of what I drive).

My 90 Mazda 929S runs at about 500rpm which is where most of my other cars ran at idle.
