hi anybody know how to reset a sevice light on a 98 s70

I found this on www.volvosite.com:

S70 V70 Service Light Reset

Press and hold odometer reset button. Then turn ignition switch to Run. When the service reset flashes, release the odometer reset button. Confirm by turning the ignition off, then on again.

I didn't try it and have no idea whether it works so please let us know whether you have any luck with it!

Join the NO-CAN-DO club (which I'm a member) and we will tell you how you cannot do it.
Unless you buy the resetting tool for about $170.00, in which case you will no longer be a member of the NO-CAN-DO club.

You will need a service light reset tool, available from IPD or Volvo, or an OBDII code reader, or a trip to a dealer or independent shop, or remove the bulb.
