what to replace under warranty 850 1997

The warranty on my mother's '97 850 turbo (70,000 miles) will expire next month. The car is getting its strut mounts (?) replaced next week under the warranty. What else can I ask the dealer to look for or to replace while the car still has a warranty? The AC stuff behind the dash was replaced about two years ago.

Thanks you very much!

Let them check the air pump/SAS valve.

I would have the dealer send the brick through their certified used car check.

My dealer charges two hour's labor and gives me a two page report. It costs an extra hour for a compression check - I have them change the spark plugs if it is appropriate (no labor charge).

They should identify any issues with the car, after this check, they can tell you if an ant farted in the trunk!

have them replace the strut mounts at your cost for the parts at the same time, no labor charge. Common failure component and they usually crack around 75K miles.

I just had my strut mounts changed in my V70 at 83K, and yes they were cracked and making lots of noise.
