I replaced the headliner myself on my daughter's car. Trying to re-glue bad sections is almost impossible since the foam backing on the material just crumbles away. You have to take off all the lights over the doors and the rear twist off holder, plus the 2 front sun-visors. After all of this is off, you can bend the hard shell headliner in half (it is made to do this) and get it out of the car. Then scrape off all the material and foam backing from the shell. I purchased a piece of material from a local car upolstery shop. I used contact cement through a compressor spray gun(although you can buy spray cans of this)....coated both the shell and the material. It took carefull work but got it done. It is not an easy job, but see if you can get some tips from the place you buy the material from. It cost me about $40 for the material...a shop wanted around $200 for the entire job, but I wanted to try it myself....You have to be real careful when you match the glued material to the glued shell. Once 2 surfaces that have contact cement on them are met, it is impossible to un-glue and re-adjust. Like I said...get some pointers from one of the guys at the shop you buy the material at...even getter yet...watch them while they are doing a job....this is what I did!....Good luck!
