92 850 random stalling 850 1993

My 93 - 850 5cyl. has randomly been stalling. I first thought, was a load of bad gas. I been using dry gas & other cleaners for the last couple of tanks. I will be driving the car, then it will hesitate and finally (5 seconds after hesitation) it will stall completely. After about 3-5 minutes it will restart & drive great! It has only stalled 3 -4 times in the last 2-3 weeks. Any ideas? No pattern. Don't want to put it in the shop, as it might not stall again for another week or so.

My 93 850 used to do that, I replaced the fuel pump relay

cost around 45 bucks located next to the fuse box,

    it never stalled again

My stalling was due to the faulty fuel pump relay,
$30, easy to replace. Could also be distributor cap
or rotor or fuel filter or spark cables... did all
    that first.

      Thanks D:
Where is the fuel pump relay located & was it costly? Did your stalling have a pattern? I. E. does the fuel level have to be low for the car to stall if it is related to the fuel relay?
      Thanks
      Bob

my stalling was ramdom, the relay is under a flap next to the fuse box
you will need to lift of the fuse box cover first, than you will see
3 torx bolts holding down the flap, pop those off,

the relay is red you pull it out and insert the new one,
note it says fuel pump relay right on it, on the side (no on top)

worth a try for 40 bucks
