98 V70 Ign Key spins all the way around

This topic was discussed before but I'm unable to find it.
My ignition key spins all the way around and it is difficult to line up when it is time to remove it. I have to wiggle it until it is aligned in the off position so it can be removed.
Help will be greatly appreciated.

    I've never had one be quite as bad as you say. Usually this is the electrical portion of the ignition switch that fails, but you may need the actual lock cylinder. Usually it's the switch that gets loose; it's the cylinder that locks. List is $51.00 for the switch, and one hour labor; $100.00 for the cylinder, we charge two hours labor. The switch most people keep in stock. The cylinder has to be ordered by your vin number, and it takes about a week. Since they do usually lock, you may want to go ahead and think about ordering it.
