STUPID DEER tests my ABS 850

Much to my chagrin, a very stupid deer jumped out in front of my beautiful 850 T-5 doing much damage. I need all kinds of stuff:fender, hood, grille, bumper, headlight, radiator, etc, etc? Does anyone have a good resource for replacement (not salvage) parts?? Help me fix my baby :(
thanks.

Such a big animal, such a tiny brain. The best way to get your car "fixed" with new body parts is at an auto body repair shop. Specify OEM parts, they get them wholesale. See if you can get the radiator and other mechanicals at a discount and install them your self. You aren't thinking of repairing the outer shell yourself are you? Brave!

Sorry to hear about your brick. I hope you at least got a nice venison dinner out of it.

What about the replacement parts... did you ever find a place that will sell them to you cheap? I'm looking for a front bumper cover and a new fog light for my 97R wagon, and I was curious. Lower than approximated air dams and higher than approximated parking lot curbs don't mix, FYI. At least you got to kill something! ha ha

Stupid deer is right! My son was driving my 850 turbo on night when a deer ran in front of him. He slammed on the brakes and managed to avoid a collision when he was startled by a thud that came from the rear of the car. A second deer had slammed into the rear quarter panel doing about $1,000 worth of damage. The good news was that I didn't have to pay a deductible since it was a comprehensive claim and my body shop did a great job on the repair. What is it with deer and 850 turbos anyway?

I hit at least one a year. You get used to dodging does and after a while you don't even swerve for the bastards. Don't tell me bambi limped off though....

No limping, KA-BLAM! Bambi paid the ultimate price for screwing up my brick. It just jumped right out of a stand of trees on a twisty road, no chance to miss it. There was a pickup coming the other way at the same time, and the ABS kept me tracking straight, thankfully.

The IL state police recommend those deer whistles, even though some others say they are not worth a damn. If I had deer around, I would try one.

Deer whistles no longer work. The deer have heard then for so long that even they ignore them.

LOL...You guys just kill me.....! I havent met a bunch of people with such humor...truly amazing! Some of the tales are so fantastic, it makes me wonder why they'd waster their talent on the brickboard instead of being paid BIG at some Hollywood studio script
