wanted parts 850

i have a 96 850 glt N/A and i wanted to put a turbo in it from an 850 turbo or an 850r. does anyone have or know anyone that would have these parts like from a wrecked 850 or what not. any advice would also be appriciated- thanks ryan

    You may be able to install a super charger, but uncertain as to where you could obtain one. As was stated in the previous post, you can't just bolt a turbo on a normally aspirated car...well...I guess you "could", but it wouldn't be pretty.

    This comes up every now and then. In general it is cheaper to
    sell your car and buy a turbo model. You need the whole engine,
    electronics, exhaust, intercooler, plumbing and the turbo.

    The turbo engine has a smaller bore (thicker cyliner walls for the
    added heat), lower compression, forged pistons, sodium filled valves,
    piston cooling via oil jets, intercooler, different ecu, a couple
    dozen check valves, and other mods I can't think of off the top
    of my head. So, it is a lot more then a bolt-on turbo application.
