Recently, I took out and replaced the 100000km old flame trap for my 98 s70.
After the new flame trap is in, I found that the car idle at a slightly high rev (at around 1000rpm constantly). Is the idle a bit high? or it is just normal. Any thought would be appreciated!

did you clean the IAC valve and throttle body?

If you did, then disconnect the battery for 15 min, to let ECU adjust to a clean TB and IAC motor.

will I get a check engine light after re-connecting the ECU (I guess you are referring to the removal of the fus) ?
