Volvo Magnum 850

Anyone ever seen anything like this before? I didn't know that they existed unless made by diy customizers

    Volvo Magnum.........BS methinks 850

I work for Volvo (indirectly at a US dealer) and I've never heard of anything like that made by Volvo.

Whoever built it was on crack IMO as who'ld want a huge PU truck like that only powered by a 5 cyl turbo engine and FWD? That turbo would be at full boost, spooled at all time just trying to move THAT boat, not to mention what would happen to the clutch.

If one has a boat that big, one buys a BIG V8 power, RWD or AWD truck and probably a diesel too.

I'd be surprized if the guy gets one bid.

Maybe Magnum is some aftermarket company/shop that has only worked on/hacked 10 Volvos??? He didn't give too much info on that "magnum" aspect of the car. I just really hope that no one bids on it. Maybe someone in the area can contact this guy and look at it for themselves?? THAT would be VERY interesting to read about...I would run down there if I was local to the seller...worth a look and some pictures, and some heavy investigation.

And if they had used a RWD Volvo, I bet you'd pull a LOT of wheelies just trying to get the whole rig to move!! Hey? How about a Toyota Camry Magnum!! What an oddball concept....
