S80 Side mirroe removal S80

I need to remove my side mirror on my 2001 S80 so that I may snap back on a piece that came off. Without the piece snapped on, I cannot adjust the mirror down or right. How do you remove the mirror and or the mirror assembly?

    On the inside door trim gently pull the black plastic triangle piece,its held in place by three hidden plastic studs.
    Next..remove the nut and hold the mirror assy at the same time..once nut has been removed gently tug on mirror assy.Remove harness and you should have the mirror assy in your hands!
