When you turn the ignition off, does your "red" battery light come on for a second as the engine is quiting? I noticed this recently before my battery was replaced, but not sure if it's normal. Would someone pls check your car and let me know? Thanks!

Same thing happen on my 94 855t and 90 244.

Never seen it on my 97 R. Have your alternator checked.

I've never really looked myself but the light means that the altenator isnt producing the proper voltage so I would have to say its normal
