extra vacuum hose??? 850 1995

hey all. while hunting around for vac leaks for the first time I came across this.The left side is a pic from bay 13 the right side is a pic of what I found. My question is did at some point the previous owner instead of replacing the elbow just replace the whole line and left the old one there to drive crazy? I dont see 2 lines in the BAY 13 photo (at left). Oh and I dont have any codes either. thanx!! Also the hose that is there now runs up under the fuel rail cover, across and down to the bottom of the drivers side

    your brick a '95? N/A or turbo? it's curious because I own a '95 & '96
    both N/A and unlike the '96, the '95 dont have a vacuum hose connected on
    the left side of the intake manifold, this hose is connected on the vacuum
    tower instead. probably your car is turbo. I used to replace this whole
    vaccum line on my '96 and it was routed inside of a sleeve under the intake manifold and connected to the flame trap.

    I think your guess is corect. Only 1 hose in that area. Looks like someone replaced hose and left original.
