Experience with Volvo CPO (Certified Pre-Owned)

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a V70 (or MAYBE an S70), from a local (Seattle) dealer from their CPO program.

I have never done this before, always having bought new or older used, other makes, this being my first Volvo.

I would would like to know experiences good and bad. I want to make sure that I am really covered.

This dealer does have a good reputation, and it's CPO cars look EVRY clean.

Thanks,

Steve

Experience with Volvo CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) V70-XC70

Our 98 was bought certified and with the VIP warranty.(is that what you mean) I guess it would be worth it if you blew your engine or tranny. I do my own maint and had a few items repalced at n/c but for the most part it wasn't worth the extra $ so far. The car has tooooo many little and medium problems that are not covered by the plan... and when we take it in we allways get charged the .5 or 1 hour minimum $ to tell us whats wrong and that its' not covered (example -Bad airpump that wasn't covered!)D~
