Microswitch versus PNP switch (850)

On my 960, I have had to replace both the shift interlock and the neutral safety switch. However, I have only noticed discussions about the PNP switch on the 850 /70 series. My interst arises because I have been in touch with Volvo USA to see if there are any undone NHTSA recalls on my '95 855T, and they have come back and said that the Microswitch recall hasn't yet been done. I did have some issues with corrosion on the PNP that was cured (so far) by running the shifter back and forth a bunch of times per Bay 13's advice (car was very lightly used until I got it in January). Could I be so lucky that the Microswitch is really the PNP and Volvo will cover the repair?
Thanks

No such luck. No recalls for PNP switch. Just shiftlock microswitch.
