I tried to clear a fault code yesterday by doing the following but it did not seem to work.
Put the fly lead into socket 6 of Module A. Turn ignition to acessory.
Depress button for 5 seconds and wait for red light to come on. At this point the light never came on. Any thoughts?

    Are you in the US? If so, socket 6 is not used on 95 models. It accesses the ignition module on 93-94 models. Try socket 2. First you must read all codes before they can be reset.

    I believe the procedure is to read codes twice, then press button for 5-6 secs when light comes on press button again for 5-6 secs.Then retrieve codes to see that they reset to 1-1-1.
