throttle body question V70-XC70

Ok- throttle body on a 1999 V70, base engine 2.4L, no turbo. It looks like earlier TB's used a cable to activate, what about these newer puppies? motor,magic or ?. I understand SU's after living with 2 122s (now one) since 1967.

98 was the last year with a throttle cable. The electronic
throttles have been a source of problems with quite a few
issues reported here on the Brickboard.

Thanks Ray N, was just curious in what controls the T-Plate, its now a motor with a pot for feedback position info. Good greif, lets make things really more
complicated. Looks like every car maker seeks to makes income by repairs. Like
$800 for a T-body?
I am polishing my trusty SU's.
