Pulled a 232 and 315 code. Faulty EVAP motor? 850 1995

I pulleed the 2-3-2 (long term fuel mixture too lean or rich at idle) and 3-1-5 (EVAP emmsion control system fault) codes this morning and reset the CEL.

Odd thing is, when I pushed the button to reset the CEL (cleared codes) I heard a motor run for about 5 seconds in the area of the throttle body.

I filled the car with 93 and took it on a 5 mile interstate "Italian Tune Up" (3rd gear at 75-80mph) and so far, the light has stayed out.

Anyone ever have an EVAP motor fail? Is it near the throttle body?

    that sound is totally normal. its part of the reset.
    sometimes under certain conditions you can get the CE light.
    As you did you reset it and wait and see if it comes back.
    good chance it wont. I got 232 around a year ago. Reset it and havent seen it again.
