Has anybody tried this size on an 854R. The dimensions are almost identical to the stock 205/45-17 except they are 3cm (1 3/8") wider. Any rubbing issues? On the inside or outside? Will rolling the fenders help? Thanks.

Can't say for sure (haven't done it), but personally i would be VERY surprised if you didn't have rubbing issues. I have rubbing (full lock) with 215/45/17, and although the side wall height of the 235/40 tyre is slightly less, i'd be betting the extra width would create the same problem.

I'm in an 850R wagon, but wouldn't have thought that the wagon/sedan setup would make a difference?
