Sun visor 850

Anyone have any ideas about sun visors that won't stay in the up position? Do they just wear out, or can they be fixed?

    Mines would not stay up. When I took it apart, I found out that the piece that makes it stay in place was all worn and cracked. I guess the constant moving of the sun visor did it and the sun gave it it's final touch. Your best bet is to buy one. I purchased at volvo dealer and paid $107 for the one with the vanity light. Installation is a breeze as you can get it done in less than 1/2 hour.
