DOES ANYONE HAVE AN EASY WAY TO CHANGE THE GAS FILTER ON A 98 V70 XC. THEY HAVE IT BURIED ON TOP OF THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL OF THIS MODEL VEHICLE.

    Pete,

    You can get at the fuel filter by removing the access cover located under the cargo compartment floor panels. I did this a while ago on my wife's car and I remember it not being too bad a job after you get to the filter. Be careful when removing the connecting hoses. They use a sort of quick-disconnect fitting and you don't want to damage them. I hope this helps.
