Its a 93 850 GLT and there are those two little tabs on the side, and I'll pull them out and try to pull the radio out but it won't budge. The dealer and everything else says this is all I should need to do, but I am having no luck. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the radio in the car?

Did you depress those tabs to get them to pop out? Or did you just pry them out? You should depress them and they pop out about a 1/4" then you pull them out about an inch and they click, them you just pull the radio out. If you did all that and it's not coming out try to push on it then pull it out harder. Then go get a SC-816 and put it in there so you'll have a CD player.

I have been having problems with my FM cutting out, so I've been pulling my radio out more and more as I get ideas to look at. One thing I've found, is that when you pull the little tabs out (about 3/4") to release the locking mechanisms, there is a little "snap" when they are fully extended. The first time I removed mine, it was tight. What problems are you having with yours?
