96 850 glt took a hit on the left front 850

Greetings fellow BBers,
I am looking at a '96 850 glt that took a hit on the left front corner. It took out the headlamp, turn signal marker, bent the fender and hood. Airbags did not deploy... Under the hood everything seems to be fine. The motor will spin over but will not crank and run. Is there some sort of reset switch or something that has to be reset after the impact for the car to run? Any and all replies, opinions, hypothesis, wags, and swags will be appreciated.
Thanks, Walt

I'd check the usual things....is there fuel pressure going to the injectors? Is there a spark at the plugs...etc etc.
Maybe 'something' has become loosened on impact?
I don't think there's a safety shut off system, apart from the camshaft position sensor which will kill all the engine if the engine dies...to stop fuel being pumped everywhere in an accident. But that doesn't need resetting.

Thanks for your reply, I checked with the previous owner again and my bad, he has already sold the car. I should have went ahead and bought it before.
Oh well, worse things have happened. I will keep shopping and find another one.
Thanks again, Walt
