Sorry. I accidentally posted this twice. And I can't figure out how to delete it altogther.

    Engine won't get up to temp? New thermostat bad? 850 1994

    I can think of many things that could cause your car to overheat, but there are few things that would not allow it to warm up.

    Four decades ago, we always tested new thermoststs in boiling water to see that they worked.

    Nwe parts may be more reliable now, but it is possible that some are bad

      I think that he mentioned that he had already changed the thermostat and engine temperature still doesn't come up to normal range.
