Any Volvo technicians out there that could give me a step by step for removal of the center air con vent and the center speaker grill. I am running some wire for my Garmin and need to route them on the upper corner of the vent. I need the radio grill off to place them correctly. Thanks

The center speaker grille can be tricky.I use a wide plastic spatula like tool Volvo calls a "bone tool".Your dealer should be able to get you one and they are real cheap(about $1.50)You slide this under the grille and pop it up.The center vents have tabs holding them in.If you sit in the drivers seat and push up on the air deflection tab you will see the tabs.I use a small piece of stout wire that i bent the end 90 degrees a small amount so i can get the wire under the tab to GENTLY pry it up while i use the bone tool to pop it out from the side.You might want to see if your dealer would remove this stuff as it can be pretty fragile.
