NO HEAT! 850 1994

I have a 1994 Volvo 850 wagon, not turbo. The problem is that I have no heat!
The hose going to and from the heater unit gets hot, the dial that selects defrost, floor, vents ect works. The fan speed selector dial works on all but number 4. The driver side, and passenger side heat intensity dials turn, but I dont know how to tell if they are working.
Any thoughts?

Thank You in advance,
Tom

Tom:

If all systems work as you say, then you probably are blending in a lot of cold air. Try turning the AIRMIX dial to minimum position. It is located next to the left center vent, i think...

What is your temp gauge reading? If it is not at the 3:00 position, it may be your thermostat. That's where I would start.

Looks like thermostat needs to be replaced. Also check fuses. There is a separate fuse for the climate control speed 1-3, and another one for speed 4.
